Math the Band Played an Exhausting Set at Death by Audio

Noisey

Math the Band played Death By Audio on Saturday night to celebrate the release of their new album, GET REAL!, which is dropping this week.

The synth-punk duo are exhausting to watch live, but only because their music all but forces you to dance and jump around. And there is something really fun about shouting along to lyrics like "WE'RE MAKING BREAKFAST!" and "I HOPE YOU DIIIIIIIIIIE!!"

Openers included post-Italo future shredders Infinity Shred, the drunk-pop-ska-collective Eskalators, and Saffire Doors, a stripped-down version of Savior Adore. Oooh, "Saffire Doors." Hah, I honestly didn't get that until now. Clever.

Math the Band is currently on a big US tour in support of GET REAL! Technically, it's an international tour, as they are making one stop in Canada. So, let's call it international. Sounds more impressive anyway.
