Come Party with Atlas Sound, Ducktails, and Mas Ysa at Our Jansport Bonfire Session in Brooklyn

The event kicks off at 5 P.M. on September 13.

Labor Day might have just come and gone, but we're going to keep pretending it's summer as long as it's warm outside. Which, in this case, means listening to a bunch of great bands while gathered around a bonfire. Next Saturday, September 13, we'll be doing just that at Brooklyn's Greenwood Park from 5-11 P.M. with help from Atlas Sound, Ducktails, and Mas Ysa.

Atlas Sound
You probably know Atlas Sound, aka Bradford Cox, as the outspoken leader of Deerhunter. His solo project Atlas Sound ditches the heavy guitar riffs for crushingly, gorgeous downtempo diaristic songs.

Ducktails
From one of the chillest bands of this decade, Real Estate, comes Ducktails, the solo project of Matt Mondanile. Think Real Estate's laid back, summer vibes funneled through home-recorded distortion, effects, and hiss to a more experimental end.

Mas Ysa
Montreal has bred some of the more interesting eletronic artits over the past few years, including Mas Ysa. Thomas Arsenault, who records as Mas Ysa—pronounced maas ee-sa—makes haunting, gauzy synth-pop that's ridiculously catchy.
