Hey, guys! Nicky Digital here. Having spent the better part of the last decade documenting and curating nightlife experiences in and around New York City, I always feel especially lucky when I come across opportunities that allow me to travel to foreign lands and bring you snaps of party scenes from around the world.

I just returned from a trip to Reykjavik, where I soaked up all that Iceland's largest annual music festival Iceland Airwaves has to offer—think: puffin, whale, Reyka Vodka, natural hot springs... Oh, and a ton of amazing Icelandic music!

Founded by none other than IcelandAir, Iceland Airwaves first took place in 1999 as a one-off event in an airplane hangar and has since grown into a multi-day, multi-venue event. This year's festival boasted over 200 artists from around the world, but still managed to be heavily weighted with hometown heroes.

Check out some shots below, and head over to NickyDigital.com for the rest of the galleries!
