This post-punk trio Maryland trio took their debut album cover art from a limited Space Sounds flexi-disc that came with a 1980 copy of National Geographic.

Op art (or optical art) is a style of visual art that creates optical illusions. This can be really interesting as well as really, really sickening. Here are a few of my favorite examples of op art used on album covers. I apologize in advance for the headache.
