Here's Fletcher C. Johnson's Jangly New Single

For those of you too young to ever savor the experience of driving up the coast in the mid-1960's summer sun with nothing but some buds, beers, and a busted radio (which, according to our demographic statistics, would be pretty much all of you), now's your chance to get in on the feeling.

Fletcher C. Johnson and his eponymously-named Brooklyn trio are releasing their latest 7", Messin' Up My Mind, via White Iris Records in April, but we have the exclusive premiere of the single's A-side for you today. Impossibly infectious, you can bust out this sun-soaked classic rock throwback on a 90-degree March afternoon, or you can save it for a day when Mother Nature decides to slam us with a bitter taste of the winter we nearly evaded.

Though the 7" is slated to be available for iTunes download on April 3rd, you can snag the vinyl (featuring original artwork by Fletcher himself) now over on White Iris' website. And make sure to check out Fletcher's upcoming tour dates to kick off the summer. (But we mean real summer. Mid-March is no time for flip-flops. Have some self-respect.)
