Danny Brown Goes To The Gathering Of The Juggalos
This August, the Insane Clown Posse hosted the 13th annual Gathering Of The Juggalos in Cave-In-Rock, IL. This was the first time that the Gathering was held since Juggalos were defined as a criminal gang by the FBI - the event was considered a gang rally, the Juggalos were all considered gang members, and ICP merch was all considered gang apparel.
Still, it was easily one of the best hip-hop festivals of the year. In addition to the usual horrorcore fare, the event boasted performances from the Pharcyde, the Fat Boys, Rahzel, Biz Markie, Raekwon, and a reunion from the Geto Boys.
It also featured Detroit rapper and Noisey regular Danny Brown on the roster. When we saw he was performing, we freaked out - our favorite skinny-jeans Fool's Gold rapper performing out in the woods for thousands of Faygo-soaked Juggalos? Naturally we had to go, so we dropped what we were doing, grabbed some cameras, and headed to the fest.
Check out Danny Brown and ICP shooting the shit backstage at the Gathering!
