Stuart Francis and Howard Whatley are East London’s Plant Plants. Throwing out more energy than a couple of toddlers after a M&Ms and Hawaiian Punch binge, Plant Plants radiate sheer gleeful, party vibes that amplify their ever-inventive and consistently brilliant musical output. Unlike most studio sessions, which err towards the dryer end of things one can view, Plant Plant’s turned their recording session at Fortress studios into a mini rave during this take of new track Bells.
Plant Plants recently returned to the studio to work with Simian Mobile Disco’s Jas Shaw on their second EP, due out in June 18th on This Is Music. Download the live recording of "Bells" from the session above here:
