Sonic Boom - Spectrum (1989)
Sonic Boom was the name taken by Spacemen 3's drummer, Peter Kember. The name of this debut album is Spectrum and the album art imagery picks up where Spacemen 3's designs left off.
Op art (or optical art) is a style of visual art that creates optical illusions. This can be really interesting as well as really, really sickening. Here are a few of my favorite examples of op art used on album covers. I apologize in advance for the headache.
