Singtank are French. They're really French. They're a brother and sister duo who look like they've just escaped from some version of The Red Balloon set in the Vogue offices.

Joséphine and Alexandre are the kind of Europeans who make song-writing look like a charming science; everything is clean and perfectly timed. This single is a great example of what they do best. It's a sad, beautiful pop song which I've been humming in the shower for about two weeks now.
 
What I can't work out, is if "Dicksmith" is about a Latvian javelin thrower who once lobbed a cricket ball 150 yards, or is that just the video? I don't know. But watch it, listen to it, then go see them play in Paris on June 12th if you can.
