Only Real: "Get It On"

Filling the void left by Jamie T one track at a time.

Everyone is making lo-fi videos these days. It's like, instead of playing with new technology, Google Glass, and whatever, artists are instead keen to douse themselves in a nostalgia filter. Only Real's new video is cool though, because unlike almost every other VHS music video, it isn't shot at the beach. They're at the canal, the council estate, and riding on a bike. Which, granted, isn't the most exciting thing in the world, but there's something about Only Real that makes normality seem a little bit more interesting. It probably has something to do with the fact that he's slowly starting to creep into the void left by Jamie T. Or maybe I'm just clinging on to forgotten dreams of the boys of summer.
