Moko is a 21 year old soul singer from New Cross in London. Her childhood was built upon a foundation of soul, gospel and house records and she would spend her Sunday’s singing in church. A couple of years later she went to Goldsmiths University and moved on to bands. Now, everything has come full circle and she’s producing luscious soul-indebted music that works perfectly when accompanied with a black-and-white montage of haircuts, which can be seen in her new video, above.The track is called “Hand On Heart” and you can catch Moko at both Glastonbury and Brainwave festivals this summer.
