You may recognise Karin Park’s prickled vocals from her show snatching appearance on Maya Jane Coles’ “Everything”. In her new single "Shine", the bruising aqquired from the lunging synths and lonely echoing riffs belie the comforting sentiment that we “can be as drunk as you like” and she'll still love us, which is all you can ask from anyone really. The Depeche Mode and Gary Numan reverberations come as no surprise as her last album Highwire Poetry was produced by Christoffer Berg, who has switched switches for acts including Massive Attack and The Knife.
