Woman’s Hour: “To The End”

Woman's Hour build upon the structural foundations of Fleetwood Mac and in turn, create something beautiful.

Since The XX royally cockblocked themselves with their over-indulgent sophomore effort Coexist (Seriously, that record was the STI awareness advert to their debut LPs romanticised lusting) we’ve been in need of a band to perfectly emancipate the aural togetherness of coital cuddling.

Woman’s Hour are not that band. But they’re close. New single “To The End” teeters between beautifully uplifting melodica and wistfully shattering longing, all set to the sort of structural foundations that wouldn’t be out of place on a Fleetwood Mac album. Paired with the video, which was shot in Johannesburg, “To The End” is an ideally soothing piece of music, perfect for slicing through the dichotomy of grown-up relationships.
