What Happens When The Internet Meets Kanye West?

"With the recent outbursts of Kanye has anyone got a chance to meet him? What was it like when you met him?"

Kanye West is an icon.

He's been everywhere recently, on a rarefied media run that took in Jimmy Fallon, Jools Holland, the Kris Jenner Show, BBC Radio One, and countless mentions on TMZ. But has anyone seen him outside of a computer screen? It’s hard to imagine that behind his deity status, he’s still a human who spends half an hour on the toilet with a hangover and has to wait over-extended periods of time for breakfast pastries.

It's so difficult to imagine Kanye being an ordinary kinda guy that when a Reddit user asked whether anyone had ever bumped into Kanye on the street, he received a bunch of replies taking the piss out of him for ever assuming that Kanye would be normal enough to walk down the street. This is how it went down.

I wasn’t sure whether to take OP seriously. And neither was anyone else. What ensued was one of the greatest threads of all time.

The responses started out well. But they got better when people started to reference Kanye’s lyrics.

The internet is built on foundations of wit.

This was one of the best responses, referencing the recent video of Kanye talking to the paparazzi in France.

Even Warren G was involved.

The little stories behind Kanye’s songs were intriguing.

TIL that Kanye West is in a hurry for everything.

And this was the best post.

And that’s it, really. We got through the whole thing without a mention of the Rap Game.
