Grab a Cup of Tea and Celebrate Being at Home With The Manor on "Don't Like Going Places"

The South London group's latest release is all about sticking to your home and its roots.

There's a certain comfort in staying home. As Skepta says, "Leave the house only if necessary, complete the mission and get back in the house". With the warmth of heating, you can recline back into the pleasure of the living room, away from the passive aggressiveness of public transport and human interaction.

On the third single from their debut album Don't Do What We Did, The Manor take solace in sticking to the home and its surrounding areas. "I like a chat with the neighbours, a flick through the paper, a snout and a nice cup of tea", the group rap, as they lean back on the sofas of their heated fortresses. When they do go outside, it's within the confines of their small town where everyone "knows their name". The track's been supported by the likes of Mista Jam, Huw Stephens and Charlie Sloth and you can listen and watch the video below.
