Multiple Shootings Reported at T.I. Concert at New York City's Irving Plaza

One person was killed and three wounded after shots were fired inside the venue around 10 PM local time.

One person was killed and three wounded after gunshots broke out during T.I.'s concert at Iriving Plaza in New York Wednesday night, according to reports from local news outlets.

Shots were fired at the venue, located near Union Square, around 10 PM local time. Officials confirmed that four people were wounded in the shooting, including a 34-year-old man who was shot in the chest and a 33-year-old man who was shot in his abdomen. A 26-year-old woman was also shot in the leg, and is expected to survive. Details on the fourth victim were not available.

Rappers Maino and Uncle Murda were on stage at the time of the shooting, which took place in the venue's third floor green room, Chief of Manhattan South Detectives William Aubry said during a news conference.

About 1,000 people were said to be in the venue at the time of the shooting, though it's unclear how many people were inside at the time of the shooting.

No suspects had been apprehended as of midnight Thursday morning. Photos posted to social media show a heavy police presence in the area, and multiple blocks have been cordoned off surrounding the scene.
