Get Sleazy and Sexy With PROM and Their Track "Touch Me"

Like the mucus of surf-pop being spat into a blender filled with guts, regret, and empty romantic gestures.

Monday's suck! So let's kick this morning into gear with a brand new band called PROM and their latest track "Touch Me". Influenced by the likes of Birthday Party, it's kinda like surf-pop - if the mucus of surf-pop was spat into a blender filled with guts, little remorse, and all the dirty, soul-polluting feelings that come from being a fucked up human being.

"The lyrics are about exploding platitudes and empty exaggerated romantic gestures which are born from guilt, regret and fear," vocalist Angela Won-Yin Mak says. "Think buying flowers when you’ve done something wrong, that kind of thing." As it goes, those exploding platitudes and empty exaggerated romantic gestures are explored with one of the most powerful, instant vocals we've heard from a British band so far this year.

The industrial sounding track follows up their previous releases "Cry Baby Cry" and "Celebrate". Listen below.
