Premiere: Watch Moose Blood's Video for "Bukowski"

Grab your feelings and turn up your headphones.

Traveling is a catalyst for feelings. When the world outside the window rushes by on fast forward, the adrenaline from the speed pushes your emotions into overdrive. Music sounds better in this situation: it's louder, more alive, more real. Moose Blood, who formed in 2012 out of a shared love for 90s emo and released one of the best alternative rock albums of 2014 seem to understand this—I mean, their video for "Bukowski" features footage from the band's tour, so you imagine they've at least spent one moment breathing heavily while a spookily-timed song soundtracks some journey down the M1.

"Bukowski"—despite its awkward name (don't take any poet as your own)—is one of the standout tracks from the band's debut album I'll Keep You in Mind, From Time to Time. It's the catathartic beat on a steering wheel, a hand held on a train journey, the moments in between that feel like eternity. Basically, it sounds like coming home from escape. Watch the video above.
