Premiere: Slip into Reverie with Funeral Advantage's Video for "Not In My House"

There is a fine line between dream-pop gold and listlessness, but Funeral Advantage has slipped into the ideal state of reverie with their new single "Not In My House", premiering above.

The brainchild of Tyler Kershaw, Funeral Advantage was originally formed in Boston, Massachusetts, as a lo-fi bedroom pop project. Blending The Smiths’ nimble guitar lines with reverb-drenched pop, Funeral Advantage has located the perfect place between memory and imagination and settled there. Full of bare branches, rippling reflections and milky skies, the video (directed by Justin Ziebell) feels a lot like home footage from the solo camping trip of self-discovery most people talk about doing but few have actually done.

The track is taken from a forthcoming double a-side single “Not In My House / That's That” to be released as a limited edition flexi-disc via The Native Sound. A split 7" with Former Ghosts and a full-length debut album are also expected to follow later this year.

“Not In My House / That's That” is available to pre-order now.
