Re-Evaluate Your Pre-Writtens, Childish Gambino Offloaded Clinically Hot Fire in His 97 Freestyle

Watch Donald Glover enter "sharing time" on Peter Rosenberg's radio show.

Last week Childish Gambino performed a freestyle over Hit-Boy's "Grindin' My Whole Life" on Peter Rosenberg's Hot 97 radio show. Those who have seen Gambino's "Pound Cake" freestyle will know he wears his heart on his bars; delivering them with a cadence unlike his peers. This is a good thing: Gambino is refreshing in a way that your favourite rapper isn't. Even if he does happen to make you uncomfortable.

"Are you done, have you got everything off your chest?", Peter Rosenburg asks at the end; referencing the fact Donald looks exhausted but could probably continue griping about the seemingly infite speed-bumps that have been placed on his career. The freestyle covers subjects including:

- Spin Magazine giving him worst album and best song of the year.

- Spin Magazine being into Chance the Rapper - who shares a similar fanbase - but not wanting to fuck with him.

- Not needing hoes.

- People taking selfies with him to impress their girlfriend.

- The fact he's aware people are uncomfortably on the fence about his music: "Know behind closed doors / You fuck with the kid or you still not sure?"

- He's been grindin' his whole life.

Watch below. Childish Gambino released a new track "Sober [Rough]" yesterday evening. Listen here.
