Last weekend, while the majority of the internet redirected their opinion on the Lily Allen video toward universally sentimental love for BatKid, someone on Reddit started a thread about groupies. It’s called “Former groupies of Reddit, what was your experience” and because everyone online enjoys gossiping without a concreted backbone source, it received a bunch of upvotes.The aim of the thread was to find out if anyone on the internet had indulged in a NSFW activity with a celebrity, or if they could lie about it and make everyone believe it anyway. Basically, it was a crowd-sourced version of the showbiz section of The Metro with way better stories.Instead of being filled with throwaway comments like NBD, I fuck famous people on a first name basis, a lot of the comments were fleshed out, paragraph-long replies. Others, were more simple, like:“Friend of a roommate's mother fucked DMX. we got his number from her cell phone but his answering machine message was just him barking for 30 seconds.”A lot of the posts centred around EDM artists, dishing the gossip on everyone from Tiesto and Borgore through to Steve Aoki and Fedde le Grand. I’m not going to post any of them here because LOL defamation and I’m not an idiot.
