DJ Khaled Plans to Snapchat the Birth of His Son, Which Is Definitely Not a Key to Success

How did it even get to this point?

In uh… Major news, DJ Khaled announced on Jimmy Kimmel that he is going to Snapchat the birth of his son, his first child. Yes, you read that correctly. From what we can gather, the unofficial ambassador of Snapchat feels it's important to share this joyous and very personal experience with the world on social media, which is extremely on brand for Khaled—and also problematic.

When Kimmel asked Khaled what his wife, the woman who is pushing a real human out of her body, what she thought about this, he said: “The key is that I’m the king and every queen should support the king. I’m a talk to the doctor and if he says everything is going to run smooth, meaning that the queen is right and my son is right, if it’s running smooth … I can just do my thing.” Um? Whatever “do my thing” means to Khaled it certainly isn’t being helpful and supportive to the woman who carried their child for nine months. He also talks about meeting Obama, which, whatever.
