Well, good, because it's time for you to have some culture knowledge dropped on you. Here, we're happy to premiere the video for "A Midsummer Evening" from Yann Tiersen. No, it's not some new internet rapper from Amersterdam who only wears boat shoes with skinny sweatpants. Instead, Tiersen is an accomplished Breton musician who's been composing music for soundtracks for the last couple of decades—in particular Amelie, an Academy Award-nominated French film from the early 2000s—on top of releasing numerous studio albums. The above video was a livestream performance of his new record [Inifnity] and was shot on the shores of the island of Ushant in Brittany, France, which is where he lives.
