As the world mourns the loss of A Tribe Called Quest member and hip-hop pioneer Malik Taylor otherwise known as Phife Dawg, some of today's most influential rappers are paying their respects. During a show in Sydney, Australia, Kendrick Lamar paid tribute to the lost legend, getting a crowd of 18,000 to passionately chant Phife's name.In a 2015 interview with Interview Magazine, Pfife mentioned Lamar as one of his current favourite rappers saying, "I listen to J. Cole, Joey BadA$$, that whole Pro Era squad, Kendrick Lamar. He's shown us love throughout verses he's done on his last album. That's love right there. That's dope. I haven't met him in person."
