If You Like Gold Unitards and Heavy Breathing You'll Dig San Cisco's Video for "Run"

The Aussie psych-pop band encourage you to "haveanopenmind."

Aussie psych-pop band San Cisco drop their tripped out video for "Run" today—a song that proclaims: "I can be all that you want," over handclaps, organ riffs, snaking guitars, and a whole lot of panting. It's a lyric that really inspired filmmaker and photographer Matt Sav and the result is a video that's kaleidoscopic and strange and features a ton of stretchy gold lamé.

"That's what was in my head for the most part," says Sav. "We are all multidimensional, even if we don't seem like it." It was also his idea to make the whole band dress in Lycra unitards. And they let him. One day while driving, Sav was blinded by the early morning sun as he cleaned the windscreen and "on a split second, I saw it. A man with round sunglasses wearing a shiny golden unitard, not moving much, but looking majestic. Like a lion." Sounds like enough to make us crash. When asked for a one word description of the clip and each band member delivered this:

Nick Gardner: Mintox.
Jordi Davieson: Haveanopenmind.
Josh Biondillo: Whammy!
Scarlett Stevens: Internet.

So there you have it.

San Cisco's second album will be released in March 2015.
