Premiere: Taste the "Salty Tears" of Joy in Mozart's Sister New Video

It's the best way to warm yourself up since the old wives tale of "drinking lava" was scientifically disputed.

We get it. It's cold outside. It's the type of cold that makes you longingly look up plane ticket prices and fantasy Airbnb locations. But the best way to fight against the cold has always been to move around, and that's exactly what the new video from Mozart's Sister will force you to do. The visuals for "Salty Tears" have the Montreal artist merrily dancing along to the beat of her own drum, as she's transported from one magical location to another through the magic of green screen. If this isn't enough to get you warmed up, it should at least force you to close that "confirmation" tab you have open for Airbnb.

According to director John Minkoff, "we didn't really have much time to shoot anything cause Caila was coming through Vancouver for a day on tour. So we did some green-screening of her dancing and figured we'd just go from there. The space we planned to shoot in was being used so we ended up going on the roof of the building with the green-screen. When Caila showed up she had green hair so that was another funny thing we had to work with. The combination of the green hair and the wind blowing the screen is kinda why it's mostly black and white. I like to think that there's a secret narrative going on between the wind and Adobe Premiere. In the last part you can see the wind blow it's final blow and completely ruin the video. So I guess we kinda fucked up but who cares, right!? It looks cool!"
