You may not have heard of Paupière yet, but the French-Canadian trio is looking to change that by taking over 2016 with their unqiue tapestry of sounds. Inspired by Montreal expat music scene and the synthetic sounds of France in the 80s, the trio made up of Pierre-Luc Bégin, Julia Daigle, and Éliane Préfontaine know how to mesh scenes from different eras into something strikingly modern. The video for their first single "Cinq Heures” is a sark display of what lighting and mirrors can do when places in the right artistic hands, and is sure to leave a lasting impression.
