If you're not familar, Little Wings is a project from a dude named Kyle Field. He's signed to Woodsist—the label of all God level indie rock (The Babies, Kevin Morby, Woods, etc.)—so it's without quesiton that it's music you should be paying attention to. Below, Noisey is excited to premiere "By Now," the first single from his upcoming record, Explains. The track is signature Little Wings: a blend of strong storytelling and confessional songwriting. It's the kind of music that will make you reflect on every decision you've ever made—whether that's the third cup of coffee you had this morning or the horrible insult you tossed at a loved one last week in a fit of anger. Yet "By Now" isn't driven by regret, because something about Field's springy guitar skills gives hope, despite the reality that we're all going to die, I guess?
