Listen to Berlin's Masked Producer Claptone and His New Tune "The Music Got Me"

Incongruous on a Tuesday, but it's making us feel very Friday.

What do we know about Claptone? Barely anything really. He hides behind a beaked golden mask, he's based in Berlin, he's released some ace remixes of songs by Metronomy and Rüfüs, meanwhile his soundcloud "Clapcasts"—nine so far—are a brilliant blend of euphoric disco house cuts and dubbier, darker dance floor fillers.

Last night British dance DJ Pete Tong played out "The Music Got Me" for the first time on BBC Radio 1 and now you can hear the whole song again and press-repeat again. Hooked on a hypnotic beat, housey synth stabs, and vocals that are pure 2.30 AM-let's-get-dirty-dancing-in-that-dark-corner. Incongruous on a Tuesday, perhaps, but it's making us feel very Friday which is a very good thing.
