In the name of self-deprecation the band indulge in the corny side of the 90s for their new track.

Match with your mom on Tinder? Party’s over. Shart yourself while shooting hoops? Party’s over. In their latest video, Toronto-based grunge/punk-band Brews Willis have used the name of their standout track, “Party’s Over,” to create a handy meme that can be applied to all of your embarrassing moments. The video features various scenarios all leading up to a moment of self-deprecation—the cameras pan out and Brews Willis is playing to an empty room with no fans; party’s over. In reality though, the band has little to be embarrassed about—along with sharing the stage with the likes of Mac DeMarco and King Tuff, the band has a new LP on the way. “Party’s Over” comes off of the band’s sophomore eponymous album, set for a physical release on June 23. Recorded to analog tape (a trend we’re seeing more and more recently) the new album is a mature follow-up to their buzzed-about 2012 debut Nerbed By A Zircon.

"One of my favourite videos is the Foo Fighters' "Big Me" video. You know the Footos video?” Brews Willis drummer Pare Bruce explains. “It's so cheesy and 90's and immature but super funny and the concept of "Party's Over" was inspired from it. So, we wanted to do a more modern version that still felt similar and I think the different meme fails are our versions of the Footos commercial spoofs. It was a pretty fun concept to brainstorm out with friends, the band, guys from Plastik Films—I think we came out with like 30 really dumb different "Party's Over" fail scenarios."
