Ark Analog is made up of Dan Werb, who is best known for his work with indie electro duo Woodhands, and Maylee Todd, who makes cheerful disco boogie with her band, and quirky electronic pop as Maloo. The Toronto synth pop duo just released their debut EP Dirty Powers as a free download, which was mixed by Junior Boys’ Jeremy Greenspan. Both of Todd and Werb’s other projects are fairly playful, but Ark Analog finds them exploring some darker terrain, without discarding their pure pop sensibilities.
