PREMIERE: Ancient Sky's New Video "Two Lights" is the Soundtrack for an Abduction

ZZ of Ukiah Drag directs a strange and awful hellscape.

Abductions seem like they'd be a pretty big bummer. You're wandering your favorite street at night, and then all of a sudden someone comes up behind you and jumps you. All of a sudden, you're in some weird shed and being forced to take a bunch of awful meds while everything is glowing different colors. Really though, end all abductions, in our book. The new video for Ancient Sky's "Two Lights" takes the scenario and makes it the perfect backdrop for weird, ripping tunes.

Ancient Sky is a psyche-rock band out of Brooklyn that play fuzzy and droney songs. Their new record, Mosaic is out now and shows you every wave and place that psych-rock can go to. Their video for "Two Lights," directed by ZZ Ramirez from Ukiah Drag, pits their music up against weird hallucinations and what you'd want to see out of a video from the band. Our main character is walking around, and then suddenly a woman takes him by surprise and stuffs him into a car. When he wakes from his sleep, he's tied to a chair and suddenly a bunch of strange visions enter his mind, probably because of drugging. Abductions are awful, but this video sure isn't.
