The post-Future Atlanta rap goldrush continues whether you want it to or not. Stepping up to the plate today is 20-year-old newcomer rapper/producer Nessly, who describes his sound as "the trap meets Kanye West and Sade." On "Til It Hurt", Nessly's slurred, catchy melodies definitely recall Future Hendrix, but his beat is smooth and low-key, standing out from the psychedelic swirl that's characterized Atlanta beats lately. Like the song, the accompanying video is lo-fi, but engagingly so, as Nessly gathers his squad to go for a ride and then party while the rapper pours out a weird rainbow drink.

"I began to lay down a guitar melody and a sparse set of vocals which ended up becoming the hook… I crafted the song in a night's span," says Nessly, "It's a song about dedication regardless of lost opportunity and keeping a steady head."
