In case you missed Vancouver two-piece Humans at POPMontreal this weekend, they just released a new video for "The End," and we’ve got the premiere right here. Complete with Western guitars and a whistled refrain, the instrumental track takes shuffling, wonky Americana and throws it into a trip-hop meatgrinder before switching gears halfway through for a pummeling, bad-ass banger. The whole thing has a Morricone vibe to it, and Peter Ricq’s video picks up on those cinematic cues. Reminiscent of Lucio Fulci and Italian Giallo film, the video is a horror-influenced setpiece centering on a great date gone really, really bad.Check out the video below.
