H2O Will Not Be Silenced in the Title Track for Their New Record "Use Your Voice"

For the tortured and those who can't speak.

If you've made it as a hardcore band and managed to make it past the rest of the pack, you'll probably hit a point where you're unkillable. There's a couple things you can do when you hit that spot. You can either just kick back, make shitloads of money off merch and live the easy life. Or, you can get even more intense and challenge other people to make brave statements and bands. H2O does the latter, and will never stop.

H2O is a hardcore band from New York City that has been going since 1994. Every one of your favorite punk bands has felt H2O's influence, from the most unknown to huge acts like Paramore. Each release they continuously put out stays true to the band people got involved with in the beginning, without allowing it to grow stale or repetitive. Their new song "Use Your Voice" takes the blistering fast pace band is known for, and ramps it up to another level. Toby Morse yells over and over, urging the listener to use their voice whether they're in a band or not. The lyrics are as follows:

I’LL USE MY VOICE
FOR THE TORTURED
FOR THE WEAK
USE MY VOICE
FOR THE INNOCENT
WHO CAN’T SPEAK
I’LL USE MY VOICE
WHEN PEOPLE LOOK THE OTHER WAY
GOT TO INSPIRE
THE YOUTH OF TODAY

STAND UP
STAND UP
STAND UP
CAN’T YOU HEAR THE CRYING

SO MANY WASTED LIVES
FOR THINGS WE JUST DON’T NEED
SO MANY HAVE DIED
FOR OUR SELFISH GREED
