D-Sisive Returns To Roost With "Odette"

One of the most talented lyricists to ever come out of Toronto returns with a new single in anticipation of his upcoming mixtape.

Toronto’s own, D-Sisive, has returned with a new joint intended to melt your face in preparation for his upcoming mixtape. After major acclaim in the late 90s for his ability with battle rapping, followed by a long hiatus due to personal matters, D-Sisive’s return to the game has blessed us with quality material, including the Juno nominated Jonestown series and a Polaris Music Prize nominated record, "Let the Children Die". Armed with a production backdrop from fellow Torontonian, Muneshine, D-Sisive ventured into the studio of Bronze One, another Toronto native, to record a new song off his upcoming mixtape. “Odette” features D-Sisive flexing his great songwriting skills, using a multi-syllabic rhyme scheme paired with gritty imagery of metropolitan life to perfectly capture the overwhelming feeling of surviving the chaotic times in Toronto. The relentless melancholic siren (an essential part of Toronto’s downtown soundscape) and rattling bass from Muneshine’s production is the icing on the cake.

Desolate: The Mixtape releases on March 29th
