Toronto’s own, D-Sisive, has returned with a new joint intended to melt your face in preparation for his upcoming mixtape. After major acclaim in the late 90s for his ability with battle rapping, followed by a long hiatus due to personal matters, D-Sisive’s return to the game has blessed us with quality material, including the Juno nominated Jonestown series and a Polaris Music Prize nominated record, "Let the Children Die". Armed with a production backdrop from fellow Torontonian, Muneshine, D-Sisive ventured into the studio of Bronze One, another Toronto native, to record a new song off his upcoming mixtape. “Odette” features D-Sisive flexing his great songwriting skills, using a multi-syllabic rhyme scheme paired with gritty imagery of metropolitan life to perfectly capture the overwhelming feeling of surviving the chaotic times in Toronto.
