Wicked Witches Bring an End to Purity in the Menacing Video for "Dead Seas, Black Mud"

Watch the Toronto band crash a Victorian garden party in their new video.

In the distant future we’ll still have bike gangs but they’ll be riding mystical purple vortexes and throwing Voodoo Halloween parties every night and Wicked Witches will be the house band in every interstellar roadhouse. In ‘Dead Seas, Black Mud’ the Toronto band crashes a Victorian themed garden party where something menacing is happening as women gorge on cake and pour tea into each others mouths like college girls on Spring Break. Meanwhile, the slow, bluesy beat rattles behind heavy chords and haunting, celebratory sax sounds in anticipation of an end to purity. Directed by bass player and Doomsquad member Trevor Blumas, the video is a monster movie exploration of lust, excess, innocence and experience.
