Watching People Listening to Totally Mild’s New Album on Headphones Is Actually More Fun Than It Sounds

The people have spoken and their upcoming debut album “Down Time” is a winner.

Melbourne indie four piece Totally Mild are cool for a number of reasons. They eat peaches with Coca Cola, they write smart and effortless dream pop and for some good old-fashioned feedback they go to the streets.

As this teaser video shows, the band have no problem in walking around Melbourne and asking random strangers their thoughts on their debut album Down Time and how they define down time. As you would expect the feedback is quite honest and varied. The album makes a European guy get all European, an international student bliss out and a Mohawked guy reminded of a dance party.

"Down Time" will be available early 2015 on Bedroom Suck records.

Totally Mild play "Down Time" in it’s entirety at the Bedroom Suck Xmas Party with Lower Plenty and Ela Stiles, Terrible Truths, Jarrod Quarell, Superstar and Grand Salvo at Shadow Electric in Melbourne on Friday December 19.
