Watch Dead Farmers' Rocking New Video for 'On My Own'

The Sydney trio will have you reassessing the validity of rock 'n' roll in the nu-rock new millennium.

The location scout for the new Dead Farmers video has done a great job. Following a simple but challenging brief -Sydney (all of it) - they have managed to include parkland, the ocean, the 4:35 Bankstown and crappy share house front yards. Kudos to whoever you are.

“On My Own” taken from the Sydney trio’s second album Wasteland, is more of that ragged and raw rock that Daniel, David and Daniel place at the top of their CVs.

This is some classic Blue Cheer or Creedence attitude blaring from a corner of inner western Sydney.

We had a quick chat to David ahead of their album launch in Sydney tonight.

Noisey: Is the house with the overgrown grass the same as the one on the album cover? You don't have a lawnmower?
David Akerman: It's the same house as the cover but it's not our grass to cut!

Where are all the locations?
We drove around town all day searching for beautiful photogenic locales, from glorious Marrickville to the sunny shores of Eastern Sydney.

Parts of the video feel like you are watching it after drinking 12 beers.
That's just what happens when you spend all day in the sun.
