Premiere: Watch Home Travel’s Sultry and Slightly Weird New Video for "Death Threats"

Who holds up DVD stores nowadays?

Featuring a reference to the classic 1987 skate film The Search for Animal Chin, sultry dancing, a hold up of a Video Vision store and a Repo Man like ending, the video for Home Travel’s “Death Threats” is as intriguing as it is bouncy.

Though the NYC/Melbourne duo of Johann Rashid and Will Farrier, have been separated by distance since the release of their My Shadow EP last year, "Death Threats" has reunited them through stuttering wifi and a dubby bass line. Written during a sweltering Melbourne heat wave the track is filled with slo-mo dancehall and the video, directed by Johann and starring the dance moves of Beni Lola and Phoenix West is straight up dangerous.

"My Shadow" is available now.
