You Tube Loves Stoner Sloth

The parody and remix videos began before Stoner Sloth had ripped his fourth bong of the morning.

Only days after the NSW government launched an anti-drug campaign starring a sloth who is too stoned to complete a school paper, confuses a salt shaker with a salad bowl, and weirds out at a party, the ubiquitous remix and parody videos have started appearing on You Tube.

Stoner Sloth has become universally adored as a symbol of government incompetence when it comes to addressing the use of weed and as a cute, slow moving critter that loves getting blazed.

Though the numerous Stoner Sloth parody videos that have been posted on YouTube vary in quality, one thing is certain, the kids love Stoner Sloth (and most likely want to smoke up with him/her).

One video has Stoner Sloth’s face super imposed over Techno Viking while another justifies the sloth not passing the salt as due to concern for his mother's health rather than any confusion from being baked.

We like the video where Stoner Sloth gets jiggy to some Snoop at the lame looking party. And in a nice piece of government hypocrisy we bet the red cups that the kids are seen holding contain more than just 7-Up.
