Woollen Kits Are Now A Wedding Band

The three-piece wrote and played a song for their good friend, Royal Headache’s Joe Sukit, and his wife on their special day.

According to a 2013 survey, the cost of the average wedding gift is; $179 on a close family member, $119 on a close friend, $114 on a relative, $79 on a friend and $66 for a co-worker.

But Royal Headache’s Joe Sukit and his wife Kim received the ultimate wedding gift when Woollen Kits wrote and dedicated a song to them and performed at their wedding. That is equal to all the casserole dishes in the world, as with members now spread across Melbourne, Darwin and Canberra, a Woollen Kits live performance is a special event.

Taken from their RIP Society 7” that is released today, the grainy lo-fi video, shot in a Kangaroo Valley wedding reception centre hall has the band practicing the night before the big day and even dropping a line/reference to Royal Headache.

‘Girl With a Heart’ is available now through RIP Society records.
