Puff Daddy Went on the Breakfast Club and Talked About the Bad Boy Reunion Show

Will there be a Biggie hologram? Maybe...

I like to imagine that 20 years ago, during their heyday, the heavy hitters at Bad Boy Records were sitting around saying, “One day, we’ll have a hologram on stage for, like, no goddamn reason.” It just seems like something they might have said. At least, it feels like if you’d walked into the studio and said, “Hey, do you guys think that two decades from now, you’ll have a hologram on stage with you?” that they might have already been working on it.

Either way—and it’s genuinely quite fun to type this—Puff Daddy went on the radio this morning and refused to confirm or deny the rumors about a Biggie hologram joining him on stage for the Bad Boy reunion announced earlier this week. To this observer, that means that there are six nerds somewhere in the Bay Area working on fine tuning the thing right now. Nerds who deserve wedgies.

There’s also some talk about the confirmed line-up for the reunion—112, Black Rob, Lil Kim, Ma$e, and Faith Evans are locked in—and an interesting conversation on Biggie’s legacy. You can watch the video below:
