This past summer we debuted "Ads," the first single from south London act MOVIE, which we adored so much that we've been haranguing them ever since to release another. This is something of a lie: we didn't actually harass them about it, but willed it to be so with the power of our mind and poof!—here's their second single "Tusk Vegas"!Several things about this song appeal:1. The line "sexy as beef bourguignon," for one, as the sexiness of this dish remains largely unsung.2. The fact that the lyrics in general are playful and succinct and there's an additional mention of a piña colada, so now we're both hungry for beef and a frankly unseasonal cocktail.3. But seriously, this track has a sexy little strut to it that would make Bowie nod his head with knowingly, (John Lennon would also find much to love at 1.46 mark.) Then at the climax the synths make an entrance and finish it all off on high."Tusk Vegas" is the first tune from their forthcoming EP of the same name. Keep your ears peeled and love them long time.
