The soulful Melbourne punks have released another banging track from their long-awaited album.

Tyrannamen, the best and most fun live band in Melbourne, have just dropped another soulful track from their long-awaited debut album.

“You Should Leave Him” has been a hit in their live set for a while and brims with a raucous Greg Cartwright-esque energy as front man Nic Imfeld urges someone to ditch their fella and head off into the sunset/beer garden with him.

“You should leave him and be with me. You, me, we could have it so great”, he pleads. When the back-up vocal harmonies kick in things get so rowdy you can almost feel the beers sloshing from the stage wobbles.

The album, which also contains live favourites “I Can’t Read”, "Ice Age" and “My Concrete”, will be released through Cool Death records (Power, Soma Coma) next Thursday January 14. Members of the band, who are also involved in the Stevens, Twerps, Whipper and Deep Heat, will be DJing at a special launch at Melbourne record store Lulu’s on the day.

Tyrannamen will also be appearing at Golden Plains festival in March.
