As the founder of Strike Gently Co, I deal in pins and patches daily. The Creators Project asked me to pull together a weekly roundup of the best newly-released pins. Most of these will probably sell out. If you like them, smash that “add to cart” button. Every Wednesday, you can head to the bottom of this article for an exclusive discount code so you can keep your pin game sharp.A photo posted by @strikegentlyco on

Pinlord
Look at these two cool dogs. They’re cool, yeah? They look like they might even be down to chill. This is a collab from Pinlord and illustrator Gory Bastard. Pinlord is basically the Moses of the pin world, leading us all through a dark abyss of Instagram algorithms and bad fashion press, towards the light of sales and exposure. Bless him. He’s also pretty handsome. I met him at the show last week. Keep up the good work, brother.$10.00 here.A photo posted by Pin Lord (@pinlord) on

Millypins
While we’re on the topic of late-90’s nostalgia, let’s take a second to soak in this Dunkaroos pin. Pin companies are unique since most of them are owned by people the same age as their audience. Zara allegedly keeps stealing everyone’s ideas but they can’t steal something that’s already been stolen. They certainly can’t violate the copyright of another major corporation! Leave it to the little man to make pins of things like Dunkaroos, and invert bad business practices in the process. Thank you, Millypins!A photo posted by @millypins on

Collaborative Goods
This is mostly just turning into a post about bootleg pins, but how can you call something a bootleg when it’s done so tastefully? Are the thousands of beautifully-drawn secondhand Grateful Dead tour shirts really ‘bootlegs?' Or are they the very fabric by which the best images and ideas are spread through our otherwise-bankrupt consumer culture? I don't know, man. These pins are the ultimate fuccboi accessories, and by that I just mean that they contain both a reference to 90s TV and 90s athletics. Don't think too hard about it.A photo posted by Collaborative Goods (@collaborativegoods) on

Pada Juan
Pada Juan currently has two of my favorite pins, and I wasn’t sure which one to include. One is an ouroboros cat yin-yang. The other is this one. It just leaves you asking so many questions—is it a Cookie Monster reference? What are they looking at? Are they looking at me? Wear this one on your lapel and strangers will feel your gaze even if you aren’t looking at anyone. Cookie-cookie.$8.99 here.BONUS:A photo posted by jp (@pada_juan) on

Ahol Sniffs Glue
With the exception of Tauba Auerbach and a few others, I haven’t seen many pin releases from capital-a Artists. But since this is a website about art, it only makes sense that I include some limited-edition, expensive, and generally pretty cool work every now and again. These crazy-ass 2" pins by Miami street art king Ahol Sniffs Glue, created by the folks at PINSBRO, are based on characters from his Biscayne World short film and accompanying music video, "Biscayne Block Boyz." They carry some serious Miami vibes, so you must at least be able to crush a bag of pork rinds to rock 'em with respect.A photo posted by Alouishous San Gomma (@aholsniffsglue) on
