Dublin-based musician and producer, Jack Colleran, is known to most of us as MMOTHS. As MMOTHS, his music flutters—sorry— between My Bloody Valentine plash and awe, and the fractured lattices of Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder crew. Which is a very good thing indeed.Next March sees Colleran follow up a pair of EPs with debut album Luneworks, set for release on Because Music/OYAE. To get us in the mood for that, he's invited the hyper innovative producer Lee Bannon to remix lead track "Deu."Bannon's remix is a rushing, frantic, beatific affair, all mutated breakbeats and celestial ambience. It sounds like the world crashing around a sensory deprivation tank warehouse. And who doesn't want to imagine what that'd sound like? Check it out for yourself below.
