Troy Ave stopped by the Breakfast Club to explain why he only sold 30 physical copies (and about 5,000 digital copies) of his new album Major Without a Deal. In the interview, he basically just echoed the points of the Billboard story that stated the album's lack of sales are due to it being rushed to digital retailers. He also states that he does not pay for features or artwork for his music. He also compared himself to Michael Jordan, Jackie Robinson, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr. He also said that he saved a generation from wearing tight pants.
