On June 16 the South and Southern California will meet in NYC.On Thursday, June 16, Those Darlins and Best Coast will join forces for a show at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge. The show is a benefit fundraiser for the Planned Parenthood of New York City Action Fund. All money generated from ticket sales goes directly to the PPNYC Action Fund.“It’s very important to keep organizations like Planned Parenthood open and support candidates who stand up for their work,” said Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast in this video announcing the show:“We are proud to support Planned Parenthood NYC Action Fund in their work to get pro-choice politicians elected to office which allows them to continue to provide critical, non-judgmental health care services,” said Those Darlins. “Especially for their extensive availability to low-income women in rural areas. We grew up in these areas and know these people. Planned Parent provides services they can’t live without.”Tickets are available now. Best Coast will be on tour throughout the summer.
