During the past couple of weeks, Philadelphia and Chicago have each gotten their taste of Brisk Bodega, Noisey’s new music and style channel. On June 21st, Brisk Bodega partnered with Mad Decent and Threat, and invaded Recess Lounge for a packed show featuring the likes of Dirty Joe South, Flufftronix, Swizzymack, Uncle Ron, Nadus, Ezrakh and DJ Reck. Notable guests included Trash Talk, French Montana, and Adidas Skate Team. A week later, Brisk Bodega visited Chicago, where THE BASSMENT, Sound Bar’s weekly party, hosted Styles&Complete, Team Bayside High, and the local trap duo Trillwave.
